We are seeking an Quality Manager for our Teijin Automotive Stamping Plant in Manchester, Michigan.
Primary Duties:
Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.
Devise and review specifications for products or processes.
Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations.
Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback.
Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.
Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements.
Approve the right products or reject defectives.
Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis as required.
Preparation, implementation, and maintenance of Quality Control work instructions.
Maintain appropriate quality performance documentation, charts, graphs, etc.
Communicate effectively to inform all members of business unit on performance and results.
Serve as Quality Resource for Manufacturing Business Units.
Supports IATF16949 and ISO 14001 audits.
Drive performance improvement, goal setting and metric tracking across departments.
Improve results through hands-on manufacturing involvement across all departments.
Maintain, enforce, and measure quality assurance processes.
Test finished goods, as applicable.
Decide whether to certify or reject specific products.
Must understand the art of handling customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and tactful manner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience.
More than five years of experience working in manufacturing with metals, stampings in the Automotive Industry.
More than five years of experience in Quality systems implementation and management.
Auditing experience (LPA, VDA, IATF, ISO, etc.
) Problem solving skills (8D, 5 Why, fishbone, etc.
) Experience dealing with customer (preferably automotive) Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, knowledge of the following programs helpful:
Visuant, Honda portal, IMDS, AIAG-CTS, ETQ, QADEE Understanding of process flow, control plans, and FMEA Familiar with the use of calipers, micrometer, and other inspection tools.
Ability to use computer software systems, Excel, and Microsoft Word.
Blueprint reading and GD&T would be beneficial but not required.
Recommended Skills Auditing Automotive Industry Automotive Technologies Blueprinting Communication Courtesy Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
