Supervises and assigns duties to security and detection staff.
Analyses security requirements, advises clients, and develops, monitors and improves security measures; Visits premises/cites to ensure compliance with legal requirements; Takes proactive steps to provide a safe and secure working environment to security staff and visitors; Conduct regular walk-throughs and security inspections for assigned facilities; Provides specialized security for and monitors access to limited and restricted access areas such as inventory areas, network equipment areas, employees files and confidential records; Manages and trains security officers/guards, and hires new security officers.
Sets the security officers staffing schedule.
Creates all security policies and procedures.
Conducts regular security inspections, and investigates security threats and breaches.
Writes comprehensive security reports.
Presents security improvement plans to executives.
Builds and manages the departmental budget.
Leads company emergency response trainings.
Recommends new security technology.
Maintains utmost confidentiality and discretion.
Ensures that the team follows security and privacy laws and standards.
