Position Overview:
The Director of Injection Molding Excellence is responsible for maintaining ARP's leadership position in the area of preform injection molding. The Director of Injection Excellence will make visionary, strategic, and technical recommendations that can innovate manufacturing processes and products. This position will also manage a team of subject matter experts focused on managing injection tooling projects and lifecycle, injection tooling optimization, process optimization and technical support.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies to determine suitability for preform production, giving ARP an innovative and competitive advantage
Serve as the go-to person for technical problems in injection molding across ARP business units
Manage advanced tooling and machinery developments projects; evaluate results and incorporate beneficial features into ARP standards
Provide key thought leadership to ARP Injection Molding Point Team; support Point Team's initiatives and assign responsibilities to direct reports
Drive sharing of 'Best in Class' process from plant to plant through the Process Improvement Team
Own and drive closure on ARPNA global Husky tooling and machinery issues
Manage near term (0-24 month) relationship with Husky; collaborate with other functional stakeholders on long term strategic initiatives and relationships
Evaluate alternate tooling and equipment suppliers focused on preform production; benchmark alternative suppliers against current ARP equipment
Participate in 'Footprint' discussions; investigate scenarios for optimizing our injection footprint
Set global standards for injection tooling, machinery and processes; share best practices across business units
Review injection molding project requirements and recommend tooling and injection systems focused on optimizing quality, cost to produce and lifecycle costs
Manage project engineering resources responsible for managing tooling orders and plant inquiries for ARPNA; manage tooling orders at Husky for other ARP business units
Review ARPNA's installed based, identify and present asset refresh opportunities
Monitor ARPNA's installed based, identify obsolescence risks and productivity retrofits applicable to existing platforms
Manage Process Improvement team focused on process optimization and resolution of field issues.
Manage ARPNA injection mold refurbishment program; develop and update refurbishment standards for molds and hot runners
Manage team of direct reports and is responsible for employee selection, development, mentoring, and performance management. Responsible for overall talent management and employee engagement; cultivates an environment of safety, high performance, and ethical and legal compliance; addresses employee relations issues
Travel up to 50%
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
10 years of experience with the PET processing, tooling and machinery industry
Recognized in the industry for technical skills and expertise
Possess extensive high cavitation mold and hot runner design experience
Experience managing remote employees

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
